SHTF antibiotic recommendations?
I'm looking for information on what antibiotics to have on hand in case of societal breakdown to the point where medical care is difficult or impossible to get.
The main criteria I have come up with are that it must be available OTC or at a veterinary supply house (don't want to deal with getting a prescription), must have broad applications, must have long term, low maintenance storage. I was thinking Pen G, except that the kind you usually get for horses and hogs is a liquid suspension that must be kept refrigerated. This is OK most of the time, but if the power goes out, you just lost your antibiotic too. Any suggestions? |

This has been covered in numerous threads.
You can buy antibiotics online without a scrip. I've used 4 Corners Pharmacy http://www.4cornerspharmacy.com/index.html There are lots of reliable online places, however I found 4 Corners to be the cheapest for a large bottle of antibiotics. [500 count bottle] I've also used BM Pharmacy |
